Here's a quick wellness tip that’s simple but so often overlooked: chewing your food thoroughly. I know—it sounds basic, but in our busy lives, it’s so easy to rush through meals, and I’m guilty of it too!
Chewing isn’t just about breaking down food; it’s the first crucial step in digestion. When we chew more slowly, we help our bodies break down food more efficiently, absorb more nutrients, and even avoid some of those annoying digestive issues like bloating. Plus, it gives our brain time to recognize fullness, helping us to not overeat.
